cosh(x)=½(eˣ+e⁻ˣ).

eꜞᶿ=cosθ+isinθ so if θ=π/4, we have (√2/2)(1+i).

If θ=-π/4 we have (√2/2)(1-i).

cosh(iπ/4)=(√2/4)(1+i+1-i)=√2/2 or 1/√2.
