Evaluate the expression y divided by 3/4 for each value of y.  

 1.  y =3 /4

2.  y = -9/16

3. y = 3/8

4. y = -2 1/4

1. Since y=3/4 and we're dividing by the same number, the answer is 1.
2. -9/16 ÷ 3/4=-9/16*4/3=-9*4/(16*3)=-3/4.
3. 3/8÷3/4=3/8*4/3=1/2.
4. -2¼=-9/4; -9/4÷3/4=-9/4*4/3=-3.
