The multiplications and divisions are done first, then addition and subtraction.

Note that subtracting negative 6 is the same as adding 6. Also 8*3/12: 3 divides into 12 4 times to give 8/4, and 4 divides into 8 to give 2.

-10-(-6)+8/4=-10-(-6)+2=-10+6+2=-2.
