How do I solve -2x -y = 0 for x & y intercept? (0,0)

The y-intercept is the value of y when x = 0.

If -2x - y = 0, and we let x = 0, then 0 - y = 0, meaning y = 0 at x = 0

Also, the x-intercept is the value of x when y = 0.

And from the line just before, x = 0 at y = 0.

So, both the x-intercept and y-intercept are zero.

The line -2x - y = 0 is a straight passing through the origin
