Problem: Solve the equation 3w^2+22w+7=0
factoring polynomials

3w^2 + 22w + 7 = 0
(3w + 1)(w + 7) = 0

3w + 1 = 0
3w = -1
w = -1/3

w + 7 = 0
w = -7
