Problem: measurements
a soccer ball has the diameter of 24cm. how may times must it roll to travel 100metres?

For each revolution, the ball will travel the length of its circumference.
c = pi * d
c = 3.1415 * 24 cm
c = 75.48 cm         That is 0.7548 m

Now, divide the distance by the circumference.

100 m / 0.7548 m = 132.48

The ball must roll 132.48 times to travel 100 meters.
