Insufficient information. Do you wish to combine the functions or work out the value of each for a particular value of x, or do you want to find out where the functions intersect?

In the absence of further information, I assume you want to know where the functions intersect. I also assume that 3x^-2x-4 should be 3x^2-2x-4.

3x-4=3x^2-2x-4 is where they intersect. So 3x^2-5x=0 and x(3x-5)=0. Therefore x=0 and 3x-5=0, x=5/3.

f(0)=g(0)=-4 and f(5/3)=g(5/3)=1. They intersect at (0,-4) and (5/3,1).
