i need help trying to work this problem out i believe the answer is -2 but i need to show how i got -2. the only way i got negative two is because i kept plugging in numbers.

2(3b - 4) = 6b - 4 + 2b

6b - 8 = 8b - 4

-4 = 2b

b = -4/2 = -2
