I am thinking...

3 + 24 = 27 - 3 = 24 + 219 = 243 - 3 = 240 - 24 = 216 + 3 = 219 + 1968 = 2,187 - 3 = 2,184 - 24 = 2,160...

Now I see the pattern. 3, 24, 3, 24, 3, 24. So thats the pattern. I don't know the next 2 series. Maybe...

I got it! 2,160 + 219 = 2,379 - 3 = 2,376!

Answer: 2,379, 2,376

The pattern 3 and 24 is part of the solution. Well spotted! And 1968 is part of the series, being the 15th term. So you were on the right track, even though you didn't get the right 11th and 12th terms. Thank you for working so hard on this tricky little problem. I look forward to your complete correct solution some time.
