I guess you mean greater than 50,000 or did you put in too many zeros, so it's 5,000.

Let's see how to work it out. The only three digits in the highest position can be 5, 8 or 9.

In the next highest position all 6 digits can be used. So for 50,000 it's 3*6*6*6*6=3,888; for 5,000 it's 3*6*6*6=648.

For just odd numbers, the last digit can be 1, 3, 5, 9. So it's 3*6*6*6*4=2,592 or 3*36*4=432.
