24600 people attend a baseball game. If 75% of the seats are filled, how many seats are in total?

75% of the seats are filled.

That means that 75% of the seats comes to 24,600

Or, 3/4 of the seats = 24,600

i.e. 1/4 of the seats = 8,200   (24,600 divided by 3)

Then total number of seats = 32, 800   (8,200 times 4)
