Problem: how do i graph the equation and defining the y intercept when x+y= -7
how do i graph the equation and defining the y intercept when x+y= -7

x + y = -7
y = -x - 7

With the equation in this form, you can see the two
critical pieces of information you need to graph it:
the slope (-1) and the y-intercept (-7). Plot the
y-intercept at (0, -7), and from there count any
number of spaces to the right, and the same number of
spaces down (or count to the left and up).
