a(0, 2), b(-1, -2)

M = (Ya - Yb)/(Xa - Xb)

M = (2 - -2)/(0 - -1) = 4/1 = 4

use any point to create the equation.  I'll use 'b'.

y - -2 = 4(x - -1)

y + 2 = 4x + 4

y = 4x + 2
