I have 2 cubes.  I roll each cube one time.  What is the probability that one cube land on a even number and the second one land with a number greater than 2

If the numbers 1 to 6 are on each cube, then the odds are 1, 3 and 5 and the evens 2, 4 and 6, so there's 3/6=1/2 chance of rolling an even number. The numbers greater than 2 are 3, 4, 5 and 6, so that's 4/6 or 2/3 chance of rolling a number greater than 2. Combine the probabilities: 1/2*2/3=1/3 of rolling an even number first and then a number greater than 2.
