You seem to have already answered your question.  The question should be "45-2c=15 what is c".  As you have put, c does actualy equal 15.

If you take 45 from both sides of the equation, that makes -2c=-30.

Then, divide through by 2 so -c=-15

then u need positive so make them both plus so C is 15 :)

what you do is:

replace c with 15 so it looks like this:  45-2x15=15
 

then you do 2x15, which is 30

then do 45-15, which is 15
