There's no image; but the domain of a function is the set of x values for which the function is validly defined. Any value of x that would cause division by zero would not be included in the domain, and any value of x that would cause the function to find the square root of a negative number would be excluded, as would any value of x that would cause the function to find the log of zero or a negative number.
