The easiest way to do this is to use the fact that 55 minutes is 5 minutes short of an hour. So one hour after the departure time would make the arrival time 0340. Take 5 mins off that and we get 0335.

J.T=55 MIN D.T=0240 A.T=? 1100 /2:40 -0:55 --------- 1:45 ANS :0145 1 HOUR ABD 45 MINUTES

J:T= 55 minutes Dt=2 hours 40minutes At=Dt+Jt 55+40 95-60 because 60 hours is the minutes limit so 95-60 = 35 2 hours 35 minutes
