(x + 29) / 10 = (4x - 1) / x

First of all, since x is in the denominator, x cannot be zero.

(x + 29) / 10 = (4x - 1) / x
x(x + 29) = 10(4x - 1)
x^2 + 29x = 40x - 10
x^2 + 29x - 40x + 10 = 0
x^2 - 11x + 10 = 0
(x - 10)(x - 1) = 0
x - 10 = 0 or x - 1 = 0
x = 10 or x = 1
