This question is ambiguous. Assuming it reads:

(x+4)/3=(x-6)/2+1, multiplying through by 6:

2(x+4)=3(x-6)+6,

2x+8=3x-18+6,

2x+8=3x-12,

8+12=3x-2x,

20=x, x=20 is the solution.
