(x-1)/(x+2)+4x/(2x2-2x-12)=2,

(x-1)/(x+2)+2x/(x2-x-6)=2,

(x-1)/(x+2)+2x/((x-3)(x+2))=2, multiply through by (x-3)(x+2):

(x-1)(x-3)+2x=2(x-3)(x+2),

x2-4x+3+2x=2x2-2x-12,

x2-2x+3=2x2-2x-12,

3+12=2x2-2x-x2+2x,

15=x2, x2=15, x=√15 or -√15.
