6 - 2(x-2) = 3(x+3) - 9

6 - 2x + 4 = 3(x+3) - 9

10 - 2x = 3(x+3) - 9

10 - 2x = 3x + 9 - 9

10 - 2x = 3x

10 = 5x

2 = x

-8 = 5x

-8/5 = x
