if yu yuze reel numbers, r^2 gotta=+ sumthun, so me thank that stuf shood be

r^2=+4*sine(2*theta)

then r=2*sqrt[sine(2t)]

sine(2t) giv a 4-leef klover ...a loop out from (0,0) & bak in eech av the 4 quadrants

The sqrt kut the distans from (0,0) down from 2 tu 1.414...

but then the 2* in front up it tu 2.828...
