Carey worked 3 3/4 = (4*3 + 3)/4 =15/4 hours = 3.75hours

Ricky worked 6 1/2 = ( 2*6 + 1 )/2 = 13/2 hours = 6.5hours

Ricky worked more hours

13/2 - 15/4 =

13*2/2*2 - 15/4 =

26/4 - 15/4 =

(26 - 15 )/4 =

11/4 =2.75 hours more
