2  3/55 / 6 6/15? your confusing me your asking about multiplication but this notation indicates division.. division is really multiplication anyways but ill multiply just to show you..

First convert mixed numbers to improper fractions.. you do this by multiplying the mixed number by the deminator then adding the numerator.. (u keep the deminator)

2 3/55 = 2(55) + 3 / 55 = 110/55

96/15  (15 x 6 = 90+6 =96/15) now u multiply normally

110/55 x 96/15 = 10560/825  simplified 12 660/825

When u divide 105/825 u get 12.something now multiply 12 by the deminator 825 9900 minus 10560 gives u remainder 660 and u carry the deminator of 825
