x-(x*35/100)=14.95

x^2 - 35/100x - 14.95 = 0  

x^2 - 35/100 - 1495/100 = 0

find the factors of 1495 = 5*13*23 = 65 * 23, 65 - 23 = 42  this is not the center term.  So use quadratic equation to solve
