I'm trying to find the base area of a container when all I know is the container's volume(184cm3) and the container's height(8cm). In other words how do I find out the dimensions of the length & width of the container if I only know the overall volume & height of the container?

to find the base area you need to divide the volume by the height (184:8=23), but there is no way you can find the length and the width(and you don't need, you've found the base area already)
