kareful with hedline like that...it look like junk ads kroks put on this site

y=8x+15

x+y=996

x+(8x+15)=996

9x=996-15=981

x=109

y=8x+15=8*109+15=872+15=887

or x+y=996, so y=996-109=887

I agree with your answer.  The original problem bugs me because a 4gb memory card would hold 8 times the photos that a 512mb memory card would hold, not 8 times plus another 15.
