y = mx + b  (5,2) (-2,2) first we find the slope we do this by the equation (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(2-2)/(-2-5) = 0/-7 = 0 slope

y= 0x +b  now take any pair, ill use the first pair (5,2) x = 5   y =2

2=0(5) + b

2=0+b subtract 0 from both sides

2 = b ( would have arrived at same answer if u used (-2,2) doesnt matter)

y = mx +b

y= 0x + 2

y=2
