1 Answer

6x - 3y = 18 slope intercept form is y = Mx + b

M is slope and b is the y-intercept.

solve for y:

6x - 3y = 18 there is a common factor of 3 in this

2x - y = 6

2x = 6 + y   add y to both sides

2x - 6 = y subtract 6 from both sides

rewrite :      y = 2x - 6
