The perimeters of two rectangles are equal. The dimensions of one rectangle are 2x and x while the dimensions of the other rectangle are x+12 and x-3. What are the numerical dimensions of the rectangles?

Rektangels...rim-leng=2*(leng+wide) . . . thus, half-rim=leng+wide . . .. yu sae 2 rektangels hav the same half-rim . . . yu sae rekt1 hav sides=2x & x, so half-rim=3x . . . yu klaem other rekt hav same half-rim & klaem it hav . . . (x+12) & (x-3), wich impli sum=2x+9 . . . that impli 3x=2x+9, or x=9 . . . half-rim=3x=27 . . . . rekt 2...sides=21 & 6
