Distribute the 3 and the 7 through the parenthesis giving you   3x+24+7x-210<-113   then combine like terms on the left side of the inequality leaving you with                      10x-186< -113   now add 186 to both sides 10x<73  and lastly divide both sides of the inequality by 10 leaving you with the answer x< 73/10  Good luck with the test
