3(x+8)+7(x-30)<-113 how do i solve this math problem? please help

i just need to know how to solve this problem because it gonna be on a big test and all the problems look just like this one. i realy dont know where to start with this one. ill be waiting on a responce from you.thank you so very much..

Distribute the 3 and the 7 through the parenthesis giving you   3x+24+7x-210<-113   then combine like terms on the left side of the inequality leaving you with                      10x-186< -113   now add 186 to both sides 10x<73  and lastly divide both sides of the inequality by 10 leaving you with the answer x< 73/10  Good luck with the test
