I have homework that invloves plugging numbers into the Gaussian formula. The only problem is that I do not that the formula programmed into my calculator and can not find directions ANYWHERE!

There are some programs you can download if you have a link cable with your calculator that have the formulas already programed for you. That is probably what you are looking for.  Try this Gaussian addition program which is I'm guessing what you are talking about.  It does a bunch of other things too.  hopefully that helps.
