How do you change a program for area under the curve to find left- and right-endpoints for the ti-83 plus step by step?

For my homework the book asks me to change my RTAREA program to find the area under the curve of left-endpoints instead of right-endpoints and then to make the program find both but I can't figure out how to do either can you help?
