The formula for the sum of a finite geometric series is : a((r^n)-1)/(r-1)

substituting values......10(4^6-1)/3=13,650

sum = thirteen thousand six hundred fifty.

Sn=a(r^n-1)/r-1

10(4^6-1)/4-1

=10(256-1)/3

=2550/3

=850
