Let A and B be the weights of the two kinds of sweets: cost=11800=250A+350B; weight=40=A+B, so B=40-A and 11800=250A+350(40-A)=250A+14000-350A. 14000-100A=11800; 140-A=118, so A=140-118=22kg and B=18kg.
