We need the mean: (2+3+4+5+6)t/5=4t.

Now we need the variance=[(-2t)2+(-t)2+0+(t)2+(2t)2]/5=2t2, so standard deviation=√(2t2)=t√2.

Therefore t√2=2 and t=√2.
