Factorise the numerator:

4(k+2)/((4k-1)(k+2)). The common factor can be cancelled out provided k≠-2:

4/(4k-1) is the reduced form. 

So the expression can be simplified. There is nothing to solve because it's not an equation: it can only be simplified.
