A swimming pool, 20 m wide by 70 m long, is 1 m deep at the shallow end and 3 m deep at the other end.

 

a) Find the volume of the water in the pool when it is three-quarters filled with water.

 

b) Find the total surface of the pool.

area=20*70=1400

if bottom hav konstant slope, averaej deep=2

volume=2*1400=2800
