f(x) crosses the x-axis when f(x)=0, so:

3x3-6x2+5x-10=0,

3x2(x-2)+5(x-2)=0,

(3x2+5)(x-2)=0, so the curve crosses the x-axis when x-2=0, that is, when x=2.
