b) comes from the part of the alphabet from G to N inclusive

c) appears in the word GEOMETRy

b) G to N is 8 letters; p(G-N)=8/26=4/13=31% approx.

c) GEOMETRY has 8 letters but E is repeated so it uses 7 letters; p("GEOMTRY")=7/26=27% approx.
