a. Since there are four suits, there are four ways of choosing the suit.

b. The number of ways of picking 4 cards out of 13 of the same suit is 13*12*11*10/1*2*3*4=715.

c. The number of ways of picking 4 cards out of 52=270,725.

It is assumed that the order is unimportant.
