Find Side of the square

ABCD is a Rectangle of lenght 12 cm. and breadth 5 cm. ma up of wire. one end of the wire is at B and other end is at D If the wire is straighten and square is made out of it what will be the side of the square ?

The perimeter of the rectangle is 2(12+5)=34cm.

The perimeter of the square is 4s, where s is the side length, so 4s=34cm, s=34/4=17/2=8.5cm.
