Hi. I have the y intercepy (2.4709005) and the slope (0.0031414) for my grpah but i cannot figure out how to graph this using the equations or rise/run method. Can you help.

The graph y=0.0031414x+2.4709005 requires a scaling on the y-axis which takes into account very small values in comparison with the x-axis. For example, if x goes from -10 to 10 then the y-axis should have a minimum value of about 2.4 and a maximum value of 2.5. The subdivisions of the y-axis should be gauged from this range. What you need to do is to find out what range of values x is expected to take and then work out the range of y values by using the minimum and maximum values of x. Adjust the y-axis scale to fit the graph page.
