I think you mean cubic feet? The volume is 24*12*10 cu inches=2*1*10/12 cu ft=2*5/6=5/3 cu ft, or 1 2/3 cu ft or 1.67cu ft.

If you really did mean square feet, then it must be surface area you want. We get this by adding together the areas of top and bottom, two ends and two sides: 2(2*1+1*5/6+2*5/6)=2*9/2=9 sq ft.
