10x²=250 X²=250/10 x²=25 X=√25 x=5

To solve for x 1. divide each side by 10, which yields x squared = 25, see below x^2 =25 2. Now solve for x by taking the square root of each side of the equation, see below sqrt(x^2) = sqrt(25) x = 5 or -5
