ok the answer is x=6 here is how i got it.

3(x/3+3)= (4+x/2)3

x+9=12+x/2

now multiple each side by 2

2( x+9)=(12+x/2)2

2x+18=24+x

subtract x from each side

x+18=24

xsubtract 18 from each side

x=6
