d + 261.9 = -48

subtract 261.9 from both sides:

d = -309.9

Thank you that's what i came up with.
Well put tracks over the =  sign then you KCF so the problem becomes -48+-261.9 add the 2 negatives together and there is ur answer:      -309.9
