You can reduce the fraction step by step:

432/48=216/24 by dividing top and bottom by 2;

=108/12 by dividing again by 2;

=54/6 by dividing again by 2;

=27/3 by dividing again by 2;

 We know that 27/3 or 27÷3=9. So that means 432/48=9.
