(1) f.g=fg(x)=(3x+5)(7x+8)=21x2+59x+40; or

(2) f.g=f○g(x)=f(g(x))=f(7x+8)=3(7x+8)+5=21x+24+5=21x+29.

In each case the domain is all x, that is, in (-∞,∞).
