3+k2-7=2k2-5-k,

k2-4=2k2-k-5,

1=k2-k,

1+¼=k2-k+¼=(k-½)2,

(k-½)2=5/4, k-½=±√5/2, k=(1±√5)/2, k=-0.61803 or 1.61803 approx.
